Billboard, Tarifa. I shot so many of these. Most of them are being sold as stock images, some as backgrounds and headers, some as wallpaper and wall canvases. An inspired moment. I also shot a bunch of this stuff in Sagres, Portugal, and Mojacar, Spain. More to follow.

The origin of this shot was taken at Tarifa, Los Lances Beach, in the dusk light, with one of my favourite lenses for low light. There was an incredible mood to the early evening light. Postprocessed by yours truly.

We stumbled across this banner for the show ‘Instantes Detenidos’, Castillo De Santa Catalina, Cadiz, Spain, and went straight there. It did not disappoint. Shot during our trip to Cadiz earlier this month. What a show! Loved it. If you’re able to get over to Cadiz, do go and see it.

Shot during a surf session at Punta Paloma, near Tarifa, Andalucia, Spain. This little point break gets well crowded when it’s on, so it was nice to see it with a little breathing space on this occasion.

Cadiz. Roof shot. What a city…went to visit for a day and a night, on 6 January, and ended up tearing ourselves away from this beautiful city five days later. I’m in love with the place. I’m seriously considering going there for a winter, although this one’s tied up, and next winter we’re in Italy for three months, but maybe 2011? Or maybe March this year? I simply can’t resist. Saw a fabulous photography show there too, and found an interesting artist’s residency I might apply to do for three months too. I’ll keep you posted!

From October’s Hossegor shoot, where one sunny Sunday morning, we stumbled across a bunch of avid and talented skimboarders. Yes, that really is a skimboard, and that’s how to do it properly. Makes you want to buy one? Makes me!

Arrifana, Portugal. November 2008. This was such a heavenly break to surf. I love surfing Portugal.

The first exposure in my latest series of abstract blur pieces. It’s the ocean blurred.
